Kathleen Holmes

I am primarily a freelance scenic and lighting designer with a passion for costumes who recently finished an MFA in design at the University of Arkansas. I have a bachelor in arts with an emphasis in theatre design and a studio art minor from Louisiana Tech University.

 

I believe that theatre should inspire others. I want my art to spark someone else’s imagination. When I am designing a show telling the story and sharing it with the audience is first and foremost in my mind. I believe it is our goal to spread the arts by sharing our work with others. As theatre artists, we breath life into a story and that story needs to be shared with the world. Theatre is a wonderfully collaborative way for us as artists to come together and create something beautiful regardless of budget, location, or time.
